Seminar: SQIDs in focus
The approval and implementation of Stormwater Quality Improvement Devices (SQIDs) in NSW is at a critical juncture. Traditional assessment has focused on pollutant removal, but what about whole-of-life cost, maintainability, and long-term performance?
The NSW SQID Taskforce was established to tackle these exact challenges. After extensive consultation, the Taskforce is moving forward with a new framework to improve the approval process, ensure consistency, and champion better long-term outcomes for our waterways.
Join Stormwater NSW and key members of the NSW SQID Taskforce for this essential half-day seminar at Sydney Water. This is your opportunity to:
● Get the First Look: Be briefed on the Taskforce’s key recommendations and the proposed new framework for SQID assessment.
● Move Beyond Water Quality: Dive into critical sessions on lifecycle costing, asset management, and maintenance protocols.
● Have Your Say: Participate in an interactive panel discussion and workshop session to provide direct feedback to Taskforce members.
● Network with Leaders: Connect with peers from local government, state agencies, development, and the supply chain.
