My position at Water NSW is Catchment Programs Manager and I am the President of Stormwater NSW.

How long have you been working and what do you do at WaterNSW?

I’ve been in the water industry for nearly 25 years working through a range of catchment related positions. My current job is to influence people who live, work and play in the drinking water catchment to carry out their activities in a way that looks after water quality. We deal with graziers and councils as our key customers.

My Goals at Stormwater NSW

My goal is to see stormwater sustainably funded with an ongoing revenue stream that ensures funding to properly treat all stormwater and operate and maintain this infrastructure and provide support for liveability.

Whats the best thing about working in your role at WaterNSW?

Working with people that are passionate about what they do, and are doing their best make a difference.

How has WaterNSW created opportunity or supported you in your career?

Water NSW has done a great job making trading opportunities available to make sure I develop the skills I need to do my job. They helped with my masters degree and with management training. They have also been supportive in allowing me to take on the role of President of Stormwater NSW.

What other interests or hobbies do you have?

I’m a keen mountain biker taking on events like Joberg2c, Reef to Reef, Cairns to Cape York and the Outback Oddessy. Very disappointed to miss out on the TransPyr ride in Spain. Some of my colleagues might also say I don’t mind a craft beer or a good red. I recommend for those that like a good red try out the grape juice at Mollydooker and Hentley Farm.
