In 2023, there is $2.5 million to allocate to new initiatives. Expressions of Interest are now open for solutions and initiatives that address environmental quality; equity, accessibility and inclusion; health and wellbeing; and safety and security. One of the program goals is to encourage partnerships with and co-investment from local councils and industry to deliver smart place initiatives. There’s a lot happening in the ‘smart stormwater’ space, so this is a good opportunity for funding and recognition. Don’t miss out: funding unlocked for Smart Places Acceleration Program (nsw.gov.au)
